The Nike LeBron 17 Mr. Swackhammer is a special All-Star Weekend 2020 edition of LeBron Jamess seventeenth signature shoe with Nike Basketball. A nod to LeBrons role in the Space Jam 2 movie, the eccentric makeup is inspired by the villainous Mr. Swackhammer cartoon character from the original Space Jam movie from 1996. Electric green Flyknit encompasses the base of the upper while a contrasting multi-colored pattern is incorporated into various sections, appearing predominately on the heel. Contrasting light blue cotton laces break up the look while a purple lace shroud with embroidered white 0 detailing covers the tongue. Reptilian green accenting can be found on the tongue tag. Heel-to-toe Air cushioning is embedded within the sole and provides optimal comfort for performance needs or daily, casual wear. The Nike LeBron 17 Mr. Swackhammer was released on February 19, 2020.
