Variable geometry treads maintain contact across court angles
The Nike LeBron 8 Hardwood Classic is a former Player Exclusive colorway of LeBron James eighth signature shoe that was given an official retail release in April 2021. The Hardwood Classic debuted in 2010 as an homage to the Cleveland Cavaliers retro Hardwood Classic team uniforms that were based on the look worn by the team during the late 80s and early 90s. Plush Varsity Royal suede sits on the toe, eyelets, mid-panel, and collar. The same shade of blue is used on the Flywire panels found on the forefoot and lateral heel. A white leather Swoosh with orange trim appears on the lateral side of the shoe. The medial side of the shoe is devoid of any Nike or LeBron branding. The top of the orange mesh tongue displays a debossed lion graphic. Below, the white EVA foam midsole is contrasted by an full-length orange-tinted visible Air unit.
